From the day the Oikos was born it has been built on strong values and the very highest of standards.

Our menu is a tribute to Theo’s family, travels and heritage.  In Ancient Greek, the name Oikos relates to three distinct concepts - the family, the house and the home. 

Using a mix of New Zealand and Greek ingredients to make simple food that’s executed with excellence, we work closely with suppliers and handpick produce daily to create beautiful food to be shared. 

Our staff are the foundation, heart and soul of Oikos. Since day one we have worked hard to cultivate, build and sustain a truly exceptional team.  Oikos is nothing without its people.

At Oikos, our customers are our guests. We invite them to Oikos like we invite them to our home. We apply the same care, intuition and attention to our service as we do to our menus. Each member of our front-of-house team has a carefully trained talent for service.

Oikos’s foundation is its people and as you know, a house is nothing without a strong foundation.
